Meher Afroz Shaon is a Bangladeshi actress, playback singer, architect and director.In 1988 as a child artist appearing in a drama "Shwadhinota Amar Shwadhinota" she started her acting career. She has acted in a number of popular dramas including - Jononi, Nokkhotrer Raat, Shobuj Shathi, Aaj Robibar, Shobuj Chhaya, Ure Jaay Bokpokkhi, Haablonger Bazare and Noya Rickshaw.In 1999 Shaon made her film debut by appearing in the film "Srabon Megher Din" by Humayun Ahmed. Later on, she has also starred in films including - Dui Duari, Chandrokotha, Shyamol Chhaya and Amar Achhe Jol.
